“Lucy Marathon On Thanksgiving Day (In A Claustrophobic Fit),” Gobloots
This is my favorite song by Gobloots, the moniker of wandering musician Alex Salcido, who (to my knowledge) is currently crashing in Portland, Oregon. Alex is an incredibly talented songwriter with a beautifully ragged voice that always gets to me. Beneath the perfectly sculptured folky songs lie fantastic, bittersweet stories of humanity.
