This Jamaica Plain band, Earth People Orchestra, doesn’t make music together anymore, which is somewhat tragic considering they did not record any official releases, just this collection of songs from WMBR Radio in 2008 (which I highly recommend you snag; it’s good audio quality and pretty perfect). In a way, though, the brevity of the collective makes the music all the more special.
The phrasing and feeling from 2:31 is so incredible it gives me chills, and the noise of the T can’t overpower their harmonies. I wish more bands like this posted up in subway stations! Boston could use it.
